GIMH will achieve its objectives as CoE through following key interventions:
- Capacity building of the next generation of mental health professionals using proven, multi-disciplinary academic programs
- Emphasizing on early identification and prevention; along with top-notch interdisciplinary care, sustained recovery and proven clinical treatment
- Applying leading-edge academic research to the real-world mental health treatment
- Sharing successes across the mental health community of Gujarat and other States
- Fostering partnerships among States, Academics and Community Mental Health
