Along with clinical and rehabilitation initiatives, Hospital for Mental Health, Ahmedabad also contributes in the mental health sectors through various action research. Many of these researches are conducted in collaboration with national and international institutions such as ICMR, European Commission, IILS, SCALF, University of Melbourne, etc. Some of the researches are conducted as part of collaborative projects too. The research theme can broadly be classified into two: clinical research and non-clinical research.
