The Department of Clinical Psychology is an integral department of HMH Ahmedabad. It ensures varied clinical psychological approaches to treat the neurotic illnesses like anxiety, neurosis, hysteria, phobia and obsessive-compulsive disorders, schizophrenia, depression, mania and other psychotic states after the remission of acute symptoms.

Services

The Department of Clinical Psychology provides individual client centered therapies; and behavior, family and group psychotherapies such as,

Detailed assessment and compilation of patient’s case history.
Conduct psychological testing in accordance to the patient’s exhibited symptoms.
Holistic counselling to empower patients to live a decent and purposeful life.
Educate the patient’s family members/ care givers, on the nuances of the illness to help them care for the patient and manage the illness effectively.
Facilitate disability assessment and certification process.
