The Vocational Rehabilitation Division extends services to persons with mental disorders and mental retardation by moulding mal-adaptive to adaptive behavior through modification techniques:

• Skill enhancement including industrial skill development through training and collaboration with Jan Sikshan Sansthan for particular trade.
• Individual counselling of patients for motivation towards constructive work and to inculcate punctuality and responsive human behaviour.
• Ensuring engagement of patients in vocational activities in accordance with their interest, existing skills and level of education.
• Training for sales, marketing and finance management; and communication skills development.
• Sensitization of school/ colleges/ NGOs/ Corporates towards potential of such patients and their work.
• Training of relatives of the patients for sustaining home based work.
• Linkages with government schemes such as Mission Mangalam for self-employment.
• Job placement support and recreational activities.
• Appreciation of care takers through certificates.
